After completing a five-year apprenticeship in 1985, I moved into computer-generated signage. It soon became evident that I wanted to start my own business, which led me to open a small commercial sign shop that quickly became successful. However, missing the traditional craft of sign writing and gold leaf work, I began focusing more on classic projects for pubs and restaurants. This shift elevated the business in the right direction and has since led to us working with major brewery companies and the prestigious Crown Estate.

Using skills which date back to Victorian times our glass signs continue to be manufactured in the same way by hand painting your design onto the reverse of toughened glass. Using traditional methods such as acid and glue chipping we can re create the old style that is now becoming more popular. We use gold or silver leaf to keep the traditional style and to increase the life expectancy of the sign.
We pride ourselves on our innovative sign making skills. From traditional pub signage to contemporary modern signs we use the highest quality materials and methods to achieve the greatest finish.
We specialise in gold leaf gilding using a variety of metals for our gilding including 22-23 KT gold leaf, patent gold, palladium gold, copper dutch leaf, imitation gold & silver leaf. With years of experience in this art form, our gilding portfolio is very diverse from interior works on private & historic residences including: ceiling rosettes & cornices, furniture, pianos, to commercial works including, honour board lettering, gold leaf signs, reverse gilding on glass/splashbacks and restorations.
We create a range of unique signs for your brand, product or event. With years of experience in bringing custom designs to life. We are experts at thinking outside the box and can take your signs to another level by adding 3D dimensional elements to your signage. We use a range of weatherproof polystyrene products and urethane coatings to give your product more effect.
By combining fascia signs, window graphics and roof top or under awning signage we can give your business the professional branding identity required.
We offer professional design services to create or develop your artwork, involving a detailed consultation to completely understand your business branding objectives.
